My idea of a fun weekend
If I had to choose between a fun weekend or a sad one, I would choose a fun weekend, even if it’s chilling with my family and going to the pools and travelling to places, I love having a fun weekend. Here are a few ideas I would consider to make it a fun weekend.
Well I would start my fun weekend off by going to rainbows end. I would first eat a good breakfast like pancakes or french toast, pack some lunch and drive happily to rainbows end, I would go on most of the rides, and probably buy ice cream. I would won’t to go on the Invader, Roller coaster, Stratosfear, Power Surge, Fear fall and many more…
After Rainbows end I would enjoy going to the pools, I would pack swimming gear and googles. Then I would go to any pools I feel like, and have heaps of fun, bombing and doing flips off the diving board. It will also be refreshing if it is a hot day.
Lastly I would go to the Cinemas, I would go to the Sylvia park and get tickets, then would buy some snacks from the counter and head into the cinema with my Popcorn, Ice cream, Drink, and chocolates. Then I would enjoy watching a movie.
So there you have it, I have just explained to you what I would consider a fun weekend. Hopefully it will actually happen one day, If you are free on a saturday or sunday (After Church) try and do some of these things that are listed down here.
1. Rainbows end
2. Pools
3. Movies

Noah's Explanation Writing: Why people need to drink water?
What would we do without water, well not very much because our body needs to have water to survive. The human body has approximately 60% water in its body and even in the brain. Did you know that 70% of the earth is covered in water, if we don’t drink enough water we could go through dehydration, sickness, it can make us feel rotten.
Did you know water helps things grow, it helps trees, plants, grass, everything, for a plant, water enters the stem, then travels up the plant to the leaves and that’s how it helps it grow. Right now it says that there are approximately over four hundred thousand plants left in the world and So we should take care of our plants or there will be less than 400,000 plants.
Why do we need water on earth, Water is precious and we can not survive without it, water helped plants to animals to humans, despite earth's appearance of water, less than one percent of the water on earth is fresh and usable.
Do you know about the water cycle, well it’s a system of how water works, here is a link to a reading called a interview with a glass of water, these are the states of the water cycle, Evaporation, is when the water goes up from oceans, lakes, rivers, and even off the ground. Transpiration is when the water gets lifted up from plants and trees and turns the water into vapor, and then gets lifted up into the sky, condensation is when the water that has been lifted from the sky turns into a cloud (Condensed water) then when all the water comes into the cloud it makes water drops that are stored into the clouds until they are heavy enough to fall down onto the ground, Precipitation is when the water that is in the clouds drop down in forms of either rain, snow, sleet or hail.
So we’ve learnt that we should drink water and how it helps you hydrated, we also learnt that water helps grow things, then we learnt why we need water on earth, and lastly we learnt about the water cycle and how it works.

POLYFEST EVENT
Have you ever been to Polyfest? Well yesterday I went to Polyfest, Polyfest is a event that people go to and see other cultures perform, I was lucky enough to experience it with the team 5 year 7 & 8s. We saw many items including the Maori stage and Tongan stage. There were also a lot of stalls there that selled food and cool activities.
One of my favourite things was the program, it had fun and exciting activities, like Te Wananga O Aotearoa where they played music by the DJ, and used a 3D camera to take footage of all of us dancing, I enjoyed watching my friend Tevita show of his moves to everyone, while Tevita was dancing I was at the back dancing as well.

The second favourite thing I loved was the food, it was Delicious! Since we were allowed to use our own money, my other friend Simon had a ten dollar note in his bag. Luckily he said he was going to buy me something with his money. As we walked over to a little spot, me and my friends sat and enjoyed the marvelous
I think Polyfest is good for students because the program tells them about the Pacific and languages, also they would probably love the food and the cool activities. It’s also good for students to see their own cultures being performed and spoken by lots of people.
Next time you hear something about Polyfest come along and enjoy the performances and food and most of all HAVE FUN!

Noah's Extension Hoyts Trip
When people go to Sylvia park sometimes they buy things from the shops, or go to restaurants. Well for me I have got the privilege to go with a group of students to see and enjoy the movie Hidden Figures. Where three amazing women take on the world and help N.A.S.A (short for National Aeronautics Space Administration) calculate the safe travel of the astronaut. They were
brave and had courage since they were part of a small group with only African American women in the group, I am going to enjoy it with the extension crew, Mrs Lagitupu and Mr Vogt. Can’t Wait!

Saving water Poster
As you can see I have created my very own (Save Water) Poster. I have put a lot of effort into this piece of artwork, and hopefully we actually do as it says, to look after our environment, oceans, lakes rivers, creeks and even our planet. We should be careful about how much water we use everyday, and try to save it instead of wasting it!
